What is Reiki?
Reiki is a stress-reduction and relaxation technique that promotes health and well-being of body, mind and spirit. Energy is not bound to time and space, which makes Virtual (Distance) Reiki just as effective and as an in-person Reiki session! In fact, Distance Reiki has been a well-established, powerful holistic health practice for hundreds of years. With sincere intention, Reiki energy can be sent and received anywhere in the world, anytime, with substantial results.
Reiki means “universal life force energy.” It is the energy of unconditional love. Reiki Healing dates back 3,000 years, however it was rediscovered in the 1800’s in Japan. Today, Reiki is a popular form of holistic health that supports your healing and spiritual growth journey. Reiki is not a religion, does not require belief in anything for it to work and it is ok to be skeptical. All that is required for Reiki to work is a sincere desire from the client to receive the healing energy for their highest good.
How Does Reiki Work?
Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive, yet powerful form of energy healing therapy that supports a balanced flow of vital life force energy in the body. Lower amounts of vital life force energy in the body, for example due to emotional stress, physical illness or injury, can result in dis-ease in the body and disharmony in the mind. Higher amounts of vital life force energy promotes physical health and emotional happiness. Reiki works by deeply relaxing the nervous system, which allows for an enhanced flow of life force energy through the body. Reiki supports your body in re-setting, re-storing and harmonizing itself. Having a Reiki session is always beneficial, whether you are feeling low in energy or already feeling balanced. Reiki adjusts for your unique needs, will never do harm and will always help!
What Does a Distance Reiki Session Look Like?
Your Reiki Session takes place via Zoom, in the comforts of your own home. During the Reiki session, Allison Eaton, Reiki Master Teacher of 13 years, will channel Universal Reiki Healing Energy for you. Reiki energy is supremely intelligent and knows exactly what your body, mind and spirit needs for your benefit! Your only job is to intentionally choose to receive the universal healing energy for your highest good!
During the Reiki session, your body becomes very relaxed and at peace. Some people feel the energy flowing through their bodies. Some will feel various sensations such as tingling, or temperature and pressure changes. Some people feel as if they are floating on water, while others will see colors and have revelations come to them. All sessions are different and all experiences are equal. Rest assured that your experience is exactly perfect for you, and that Reiki is working deeply and powerfully to help you heal at the root levels of any imbalances. You may also find more benefit in receiving more than one session. Follow your intuition.

Reiki Session Instructions:
Reiki Sessions are via Zoom. Please be in a comfortable and quiet space. You may choose to sit upright or lye down during your session. It is helpful if you allow yourself 5-10 minutes of relaxation before the session. Although not required, it can be helpful to create sacred space for yourself (eg. incense, essential oils, candles or relaxing music). Please come with a healing intention, an open heart and mind. I look forward to working with you soon.
